Petroleum coke powder grinding mill

Working Principle

The working principle of petroleum coke powder grinding mill is that by utilizing impact force and friction force and proper classification, the mill can ensure stable and high quality to efficiently grind petroleum coke into fine powder.

 Production process of Petroleum coke powder grinding mill :

1. Feeding: The petroleum coke is fed into the grinding mill through a hopper or a conveyor belt. The material is then uniformly and continuously fed into the grinding chamber.

2. Grinding: Inside the grinding chamber, a high-speed rotating rotor with grinding elements, such as hammers or blades, impacts the petroleum coke particles. The impact force and the friction between the particles and the grinding elements cause the coke particles to break down into smaller sizes.

3. Classification: As the ground petroleum coke particles are of different sizes, they need to be classified into different particle sizes. 3. Needle coke: Needle coke is a special grade petroleum coke with unique structure and performance. It is mainly used in the production of high-performance graphite electrodes for electric arc furnaces.

4. Shot coke: Shot coke is a by-product of the delayed coking process and has a relatively low sulfur content. It needs to be ground to produce a fine powder for various applications.
