Uses of calcite powder


Calcite powder is GCC, which is the abbreviation of "ground calcium carbonate". It also named heavy calcium carbonate.

1. The pre-preparation stage before milling


Before calcite is milled, the raw ore is generally processed because it is large, and clean raw calcite ore is also required. Therefore, the pre-preparation stage before calcite milling generally includes two steps.

The first is the raw material The preparation of calcite first needs to be washed with water to remove impurities, dried and sent to the raw material warehouse;

the second is its pre-crushing stage.

According to the needs of users and subsequent processes, it is generally divided into one stage and two stages, and the two stages are being crushed.

First use a jaw crusher for rough crushing, and then if the particle size is too large to meet the maximum feed size of the subsequent grinding equipment, a secondary crushing is required.

In the secondary crushing, a cone crusher or a impact crusher is generally used.

The crusher performs fine crushing of calcite, so that the crushed material is sent to the raw material storage by the bucket elevator for standby.

2. Grinding and screening in the grinding stage


After this fashion procedure is completed, it is the key grinding process.

Generally, fine materials are quantitatively fed into the calcite mill by belt conveyor and vibrating feeder for grinding.

According to the different requirements of the user's finished product particle size, the calcite is selected. The milling equipment is also different.

Here, taking the HGM series of ultrafine powder grinding mills as an example, the materials are scattered to the periphery of the circle under centrifugal force, and fall into the raceway of the grinding ring to be crushed by the ring rollers being punched, crushed, and ground.

After the first layer is crushed, the material enters the second and third layers, and the coarse powder after the third layer is crushed is carried into the powder concentrator.

At this time, the classifier performs classification, and the rotating turbine in the classifier makes the coarse-grained materials fall back and regrind, thus completing a production cycle.

Then it goes round and round for production. Calcite powder is prepared in this way.

The working principle of HGM calcite mill


When working, the main motor drives the main shaft and the turntable to rotate through the reducer, and the roller pins on the edge of the turntable drive dozens of grinding rollers to roll in the grinding ring raceway.

The large pieces of material are crushed into small particles by the hammer crusher, and then sent to the storage bin by the elevator, and then sent to the bulk tray on the upper part of the turntable evenly through the vibrating feeder and the inclined feeding pipe.

The material is scattered to the periphery of the circle under the action of centrifugal force, and falls into the raceway of the grinding ring to be impacted, rolled, and ground by the ring roller. After the three-layer/four-layer loop is processed into powder, the high-pressure fan sucks the outside air into the machine through suction, and brings the crushed material into the powder concentrator.

The rotating impeller in the powder concentrator makes the coarse materials fall back and regrind. The fine powder that meets the requirements enters the cyclone powder collector with the airflow and is discharged by the discharge valve at the lower part of the cyclone as the finished product. The airflow with a small amount of fine dust passes through After the pulse dust collector is purified, it is discharged through a fan and a muffler.

 
 

Advantages of HGM series calcite mill
